Frog Folk
The Frog town is a friendly and open place, with clumps of mud and straw huts standing on stilts near the water's edge. Many children race around the village, some playing, some off to do errands. In general, these folk dress simply in browns, greens, and reds. Their hair is coarse and dark hair, pulled back for efficiency. Their faces are kindly, but no-nonsense.
The Frogs are the midwives of the Tribes. While the Serpents watch over conception and death, the Frogs are responsible for the transition from the watery womb to life on the solid ground. Although they too spend the first part of their lives in the water, they finish their days on the land, and thus considered to be one of the Earth tribes.
Frog finds healing in the simple things, from herbs to particular foods, rather than in drastic measures. If the Serpent Folk are the emergency surgeons and oncologists, the Frogs are your mom with chicken soup when you have a cold. More than any other clan, the Frogs are known for their skills with natural remedies and physical ailments.
Frog Folk are also workers of clay, their pieces are made for efficiency and usefulness rather than aesthetic greatness, but some of their works can be impressive in size and conception. Sometimes they combine clay and basket-weaving to make a variety of lightweight, waterproof containers for their use.
